Bodega x PLEASURES 15th anniversary capsule

In the space of 15 years, Bodega has grown from a small streetwear boutique to an internationally renowned brand, placing Boston firmly on the streetwear map. Since its founding, she has forged a number of close relationships, releasing her own line of products as well as a number of sneaker and apparel collaborations. One of Bodega’s favorite brands is subversive California clothing company PLEASURES, which is celebrated in this capsule.

“With a style reminiscent of the golden years of ’80s and’ 90s streetwear, PLEASURES ‘retro designs are full of irony, biting wit and a crass, sardonic sense of humor. It was what the world needed and we could relate to ourselves, ”Bodega said in a press release. “Over the years, PLEASURES has joined us for our infamous activation in China, as well as some local installations in our LA store. This time, they are helping us commemorate our 15th anniversary by bringing original designs for a collaborative capsule collection. Using our SS21 collection as a point of reference, PLEASURES took our outdoorsy theme and followed it, adding their signature for a “forest vibe” with some of their signature humor.

Clothing items include a set of white and forest green t-shirts and hoodies. A large bonsai tree, 15th anniversary verbiage and Bodega’s signature slogan “Hidden in Plain Sight” are printed on the back, with PLEASURES designs and Bodega’s new “Built to Last” slogan printed on the front. Bonsai that requires “patience, ingenuity and meticulous and focused effort” is a metaphor for the continued growth of the Bodega brand which is “Built to Last”.

Another t-shirt option is dressed in black, with intimate graphics and a list of standard operating procedures for camping courtesy of PLEASURES. Finally, the collection consists of dual brand air fresheners, bringing the fresh air to the front seat in scents of pine, sandalwood and rose.

The collection will be released in Bodega stores in Boston and Los Angeles on July 23 at 10 a.m. EDT on a first-come, first-served basis.

For a more contemporary fashion, the FW21 collection from Anti Social Social Club proves that it is not “ALL TALK”.
