Signs of a good week include sunshine, the perfect ratio of cold brew milk to oat milk, and an exciting launch from Girlfriend Collective. Today, the activewear and loungewear brand launched the Stretch Woven collection, which consists of five easy-to-wear styles in a new fabric. Different from the brand’s cult compressive or floating fabrics, Girlfriend’s Stretch Woven fabric is a durable, lightweight and slightly stretchy blend of recycled polyester and spandex.
The collection includes the short sleeve button up jumpsuit, sleeveless button up romper, easy everyday shorts, tapered joggers and wrap skirt. Like all Girlfriend Collective pieces, the Stretch Woven collection comes in sizes XXS to 6XL. Each piece is available in three colors (so far); you can choose between black, dark olive green and royal blue.
Another reason to love Girlfriend Collective, besides their great activewear and size inclusion, is their commitment to sustainability. Sustainability is hard for brands to master, especially since the best way to be eco-responsible is to, well, stop buying stuff. But the brand is famous for making more than 50% of its clothing and packaging from recycled materials. and recyclable materials (like plastic water bottles, nylon, and fishing nets). Plus, all of the beloved Girlfriend Activewear can be sent back to the brand and made into leggings for someone else, and you’ll get store credit in return.
