Project Clothing and Triathlon Australia end their partnership

After nearly three years of collaboration, Project Clothing and Triathlon Australia have announced the end of their clothing partnership due to the nature of COVID and travel restrictions.

Melbourne-based manufacturer Project Clothing is a global sportswear company that has spent the past decade developing world-class products for some of Australia’s top triathlon, cycling, running and AFL referees athletes.

Triathlon Australia Managing Director Miles Stewart said at the end of December 2021 “We have enjoyed working closely with Project Clothing on the partnership as an official partner for Triathlon Australia uniforms, compression and apparel.

“Project Clothing has been a big supporter, but it has been a difficult environment to bring the partnership to its full potential throughout COVID-19.

“We were eager to outfit our Australian age group teams in 2020 and 2021, but due to the global pandemic and the Australian government closing international borders, these teams were unfortunately unable to make it to the championships. world age group triathlon.

“We thank Project Clothing for working with us over the past few seasons as a supporter of triathlon.”

Project Clothing Managing Director Graeme Clarke notes “Project has also taken advantage of the past three years as TA’s official apparel partner and worked closely with High Performance to develop the new Quantum tri suit. It is unfortunate due to Covid that the deal could not be maximized, but we look forward to the opportunity to work with TA again if the opportunity arises. “
